There is a major IT transition about to take place at Golf Australia. This will result in some interruption to handicap calculations and to Miscore. As a result at Magenta all competitions after Sunday 28 September will be played as follows:
Wednesday 1 October, Saturday 4th October, Sunday 5th October and Monday 6th October – cards will be used in lieu of Miscore. The Proshop will provide you with a card.
Your handicap will be as at 28th September. There are a number of updates for GA Connect and for MiScore during that time and we believe the best way of avoiding trouble is to use cards for the whole transition period. There is still a risk that there will be delays to the transition programme of either GA Connect or MiScore. If this happens we will communicate with you and the use of cards will continue beyond 6th October.

Golf Australia is undertaking a major digital transformation that includes the transition away from the 25-year-old GOLF Link platform to a new system called Golf Australia CONNECT.
Your current GOLF Link number is now your Golf ID for life. From 2 October, you'll use this Golf ID to register and log in across the new Golf Australia System.
From 10pm AEST, Sunday 28 September 2025, the GOLF Link system will be permanently shut down.
During the transition from Golflink to Golf Connect, no handicapping of competitions will be possible and handicaps will be frozen through this period.
We expect to be back online by 6th October and plan to resume competition golf from 8th October. We will confirm this once the transition is complete.
