As you know, Magenta Shores are hosting the Australian Women's Classic from March 5th to 8th this year. The event this year will be even more exciting to be part of than the NSW Women's Open we hosted in 2024.
That very successful event could not have happened without huge support from all of you, backed up by the golf team and James and his team.
As Volunteer Coordinator I now ask you to support us again. We are also approaching Magenta residents and other local Golf Clubs. This is a major event which will attract top women golfers from Australia and overseas, including the Ladies European Tour. You will have the opportunity to see some amazing golf at our own course. Many of the LET players have already booked again with their host families at Magenta and so you'll also have the opportunity to meet them socially.
As before, there will be roles for everyone, suited to everyone's abilities and availabilities - as we did last time. We envisage volunteering for mornings and/or afternoons for as many of the four days as you can, (lunch packs and water will be provided). Roles include but are not limited to:
• Volunteer Registration Desk
• Visitor Check in Desk
• Fairway Safety Marshals
• Traffic Control
• Starters Assistant
• Practice Nets Assistant
• Practice Range Assistant
• Scorers (walking and static)
• Crowd Control
• Media Cart Drivers (Saturday and Sunday)
Please also indicate if you are interested in caddying, but note this will be walking.
