Welcome to the November Newsletter!
We’ve got plenty of news to share this month. Firstly, please join me in congratulating Tahlae Ball on her appointment as Chief Executive Officer. Tahlae is passionate about continuing to move the Club forward — turning our dreams into plans, and plans into reality. With the amalgamation process now virtually complete, we can look forward to an exciting new chapter together.
The Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday, 26 October at the Bowling Club venue. Phil Shaw continues in his role as President, supported by the Board of Directors. The Annual Financial Report is available for members to view via the link provided.
The new POS terminal behind the bar is now fully operational, you can now use your prize account balances at both the Golf Club and Bowling Club venues, so be sure to take advantage of this convenient service.
Other recent upgrades behind the bar include a cool room renovation, a new ice machine, and a few new faces on the bar team. As the team settles in, we’re sure you’ll get to know them and enjoy your visits even more.
We’ve also installed a new water station next to the BBQ area, providing chilled, filtered water — just in time for the warmer weather!
Golf Sub-Committee Reminder
As many of you will know, the Golf Sub-Committee has been working actively over the past year to support the Club and its members. We’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the Committee’s ongoing role and the people who make it all happen.
The Sub-Committee helps oversee golf operations, represents member interests, and works closely with Club management to keep improving the golfing experience for everyone.
Your current Golf Sub-Committee Members are:

2025 Club Championship Results ⛳️
Thank you to everyone that supported the seeded draw again this year. What an amazing atmosphere it was for the Men’s B Grade playoff between Jared McGregor and Jeremy Hewitt with the result still so tight it went to a sudden death playoff! 
We are very proud of Josh Stig our Club Champion who was a 3 time Junior Champion , R/up last year and regular Pennant player Josh joins a great list of players including 16 time winner Andrew Wyper, Last years winner Justin Ely who finished R/up this year, Greg Wyper another multiple winner and Chad Cresswell all previous winners in this years field

3D Iron Fitting Philosophy
Titleist’s unique approach to irons is built on the three key factors that define successful iron play for any player: Distance Control, Dispersion Control, and Descent Angle. Each must be optimised for every iron you carry if you want to reach your full playing potential.

Distance Control
We look to maximise carry distance while maintaining an even and consistent 5mph gap in ball speed between clubs. This prevents you from carrying two clubs that do the same job or playing a club with so much distance variance that you can’t play it with confidence.

Dispersion Control
We analyse your shot pattern and compare options to ensure your results fall into the tightest and most predictable range of outcomes possible. The goal here is to make sure your clubs are doing their part in getting you closer to the hole.

Descent Angle
With every iron, you need to consistently launch your ball high enough to bring it down steep enough to hold the green. Many players are surprised to hear that their irons should all ideally reach a similar peak height to produce the descent angles you need to score with every club.
