Important Notes
January 27. Australia Day – this was again a great fun event. Thanks to Rob and the Hurley boys and other volunteers for providing a BBQ before the start. There was some confusion about the scoring. We will make it clearer next year.
February 17. Handiskins Round 1 - Please note Handiskins is on again this year after very positive feedback from last year’s initial participation year. Participation is optional and there is an entry fee. There are 5 stableford rounds with each entrant's best 3 rounds to count. The best 4 players play-off in a “skins” final for a total purse of $1200. All 4 finalists are also invited to play in the National tournament in Queensland the following year which from all reports is a great event. For more details and the rules, please click here.
There will be a registration desk set up to collect names and entry fees and a “goodies bag. " If you want to participate, make sure you register.
Rounds 2 to 5 will be played monthly from March to June. As long as you play in 3 rounds you can qualify.
February 23. Par 3 Ambrose – This month, we have decided to try something a little different by providing Paella in the members' lounge after the round. The Par 3 Ambrose is a fun and social event, so we encourage you to come and join in on the fun. As the event is only 9 holes, booking are limited and only a few spots remain.
Partners who do not play the Par 3 are welcome. To book, please look for the "Dinner only timesheet" in the booking sheet area of the website. Non-playing partners will cost $20.
February 26.
