Firstly, we would like to congratulate all the recent comp winners, as it has been great seeing large participation numbers, even during the past poor weather conditions we have experienced. With that noted, isn’t it great we can all generally rely on our beautiful golf course being open and ready for play. Whilst so many other courses were closed and unplayable. For that, our gratitude goes to James and his fine team.

Also, I would like to personally thank all members who purchased custom-fitted clubs last month, as we had gross sales of over $33,000 in May and trending well again this month. This is all attributed to offering members and their guests the best possible service, but more importantly unbeatable prices. So, feel free to pop-in and discuss if you’re in the market for new equipment, as I promise to provide you with the best possible quote.

Winter Promotion (June, July & August 2025)

The pro-shop staff are excited to offer 12 x Lamkin regular or mid-size grips or Golf Pride (undersize) grips installed on your golf clubs for a total of $165. Please feel free to leave them at the pro-shop after your game. So, we can install and have them ready for you on your next round of golf.

The pro-shop are still fine-tuning the fresher approach to food offerings on Wednesdays, Saturday and Sundays (plus some public holidays), which are delivered freshly-made on those mornings and surprisingly enough, the standard order per day we started with has since doubled. Furthermore, we now have 4 x casual staff in our pool, for which allows us to ensure all comp days are catered.  
Additionally, please be reminded we have a new snack warmer in the pro-shop. So, if you haven’t seen the staff driving around the golf course and you’re passing by the pro-shop, we will have those exact same on-course snacks inside as well. So, feel free to pop-in.

Members Complimentary Golf Clinics:

Don’t forget to attend the members complimentary clinics, as they are a great way to improve your golf and meet new members. So, take advantage of this very unique service, as Magenta Shores is one of the only Clubs in Australia that offer this fantastic initiative.

• Tuesdays: 8:30am

• Thursdays (Beginners Only): 10:00am

• Fridays: 8:30am

By the way, we are researching and reviewing these classes. As we want other members to have the same opportunity to join-in and we understand not everyone can participate mid-week. So, don’t be surprised if we offer some of these complimentary classes on weekends. So, stay tuned.

Lee’s Secret Tips (Don’t Tell A Soul)

Are you struggling to get a game in the Saturday comp? Try logging in at around 9:30pm on Friday nights. As tee-times tend to open-up and slots generally appear from late cancellations. But don’t tell anyone I told you.

Member Request (Bunker Raking)

We have been experiencing more-and-more unraked bunkers and we do realise it’s happening more from Hotel Guests and Visitors, than Magenta Shores Members. However, there are still some sightings where Members just aren’t raking their bunkers thoroughly enough and if we could all kindly remember to leave each bunker we are in, better than what we found it. As your assistance would be most appreciated.
