The Australian Women's Classic has been a fantastic success - and I'm sure everyone has seen the incredible photos on facebook of our course, the volunteer army and the players in action.
I wanted to share some feedback from the Ladies European Tour players and officials regarding our course and Club.
The Tournament Director - Pauli van Meersbergen passed on feedback from several cadies and players who said that MSGCC was in the top 5 venues that they played on the European Tour - extremely high praise from people that know their courses and facilities.
Specifically, Pauli mentioned at the presentation ceremony what a pleasure it was to work with a Chief Superintendent of the calibre of James Newell and with his team.
In addition, when I spoke to Pauli about our course, she advised that they had tested (via stimpmeter) multiple greens on the course - and they were all within inches of one another, around 11.5 which is a perfect speed for professional golf.
Please be sure to congratulate James and any of his team when you see them on the course. We are so lucky to have our team of experts preparing our course.
