Welcome to the August newsletter, we are off to a wet start to the month with only 29 starters in the Monthly Mug/Medal, George Bailey was in his element with the scottish like weather and won the Monthly Mug with 75 Nett and Tracey Toner won the Ladies.
Unfortunately the East Coast Low set in and the course closed , the Weston Bears Golf Day had to be cancelled on the Sunday.
The new POS over the Bar has been running now for a couple of weeks and Trish is now a whiz on the new screen impressing all the young ones. New Member cards are available in the ProShop at the moment which allows you to receive Member prices and Loyalty Points at the Bar but Prize accounts are still only available in the ProShop. More news in next months Newsletter, we are working on it.
Golf Australia are introducing a new GolfLink system which will be known as Golf Connect, Golf Australia CONNECT will go live to golfers and golf organisations from Thursday October 2.
Kurri Golf Club will be transitioned to Golf Australia Connect between 28 September and 10 October, with a full timetable of system upgrades to be provided in due course.
As per Golf Australia’s recommendation it is strongly recommended that clubs do not schedule handicap golf from September 29 for a period of 2 weeks. We will advise you when handicapping will not be available .
Internal daily club competitions (all formats), including normal procedures for prize allocations and posting, can still be run through our MiClub golf management system during this time.
Golf Australia have provided the following provisional timetable in respect to the implementation of the new Golf Australia Connect handicapping platform:
